✨The final Family Series concert of the season, Exploring Beethoven's 5th with FLC! is coming up soon on April 28 at 3:00 PM at Weill Hall at the Green Music Center! Not only will @leccechong be conducting this concert, but it will be a fully immersive experience for all ages!

🎞️ Above the stage and orchestra, will be a big screen where all concertgoers will see, up-close, the musicians and Francesco no matter your seat!

✨ The fan favorite instrument petting zoo will return one hour prior to the start time. In addition, young patrons will have the chance to take part in an interactive music passport journey in the lobby!

Experience Beethoven’s first symphony showing a young genius already striking out on a new path with the celebrated “Eroica” symphony that created a whole new world of symphonic possibilities.

These performances will feature the orchestra in unique configurations reflecting how the symphonies in Beethoven’s time may have been played while utilizing the incredible new-fashioned  acoustics of the Green Music Center.

✨Despite Beethoven going deaf in his 20's, he was still able to compose and perform music. Francesco Lecce-Chong explores Beethoven's 5th Symphony from the famous four-note motif, Da Da Da Dum, to how he pushed boundaries that forever changed classical music at “Exploring Beethoven’s 5th with FLC” on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 3:00 pm, at Weill Hall, Green Music Center.

🎶 Inspired by Leonard Bernstein’s televised Young People’s Concerts (1958-1972), performed with the New York Philharmonic and featured on CBS. These concerts introduced an entire generation to the joys of classical music.

🎻 This interactive concert not only includes the pre-concert instrument petting zoo one hour before start time, but also Introducing a new Immersive Multi-Media Experience that gives audiences an up close and personal view of the musicians, their instruments, and Maestro Lecce-Chong.

Come early for the pre-concert talk! Geneva Lewis and Francesco Lecce-Chong.
Don't miss the last Masterclass of the season on Monday March 25th with violinist, Geneva Lewis at 4:00 PM at Weill Hall, Green Music Center.

Geneva will be working with two young musicians and will cover how she interprets pieces, an overview of her techniques and how her musical expression is reflected in each performance.

Tickets are free but are required to enter. Reserve online or call Patron Services on Monday. Please note, parking is not included in the ticket.
