Giselle Vallejo

Giselle Vallejo, contralto
Giselle Vallejo began performing mariachi at the age of 15 and has performed with Mariachi Garibaldi from Southwestern College (directed by Jeff Nevin) and Mariachi Champaña Nevin for the past 14 years. As part of these ensembles, Vallejo has had the pleasure of performing with various symphony orchestras including the San Diego Symphony, Yakima Symphony and York Symphony Orchestra, and has traveled to perform in Germany, France, Brazil, China, India, South Korea and Russia. Vallejo is a Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Alliant University. She works as a therapist at Sacramento Children’s Home and possesses her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor’s in Religious Studies.
