Kurt Patzner
Trombone
Kurt has played with every major orchestra in the Bay Area and is a member of the Marin and Berkeley Symphonies in addition to the Santa Rosa Symphony Orchestra. He also is a member of the San Francisco Lamplighter’s Orchestra, the Bob Enos Legacy Big Band, and the Bay Area Big Band.
Kurt taught at the College Preparatory School in Oakland for 32 years and has been a member of the Santa Rosa Symphony since 1981. Kurt’s wife Carla Picchi is a violinist who occasionally performs with the Santa Rosa Symphony. They have three sons who are also musicians and a grandson who plays the piano and sings.
