Why Your Support Matters
Why should you support the Santa Rosa Symphony?
We are building a lifelong relationship with classical music deep in our community, providing free professional instruction and musical instruments in our most underserved neighborhoods, and bringing stunning orchestral music to Sonoma County’s world-class Weill Hall.
With only a fraction of expenses covered by ticket sales, we are especially reliant on support from our community—people just like you—who share in the love of classical music and live performance.
Whether you are passionate about youth music education, or enjoy our classical series, family concerts or free community performances, we are confident there is an aspect of our work that resonates with you. Your support makes it all possible.
Your Dollars At Work
The musical arts are alive and well in Sonoma County. Few communities in America of comparable size support a regional symphony so vital, dynamic, and innovative.
The Santa Rosa Symphony is energetic, inclusive, bold and risk-taking, yet remains steeped in local traditions and passionate about celebrating and honoring classical music. Here are just a few ways to see your gift in action:
- $2,500 pays for transportation for 500 elementary school children to a Free Concerts for Youth
- $1,500 covers a daily Elementary School Listening program for one public elementary school for one year
- $1,000 delivers an In-School Performance for one school, reaching 500 students
- $500 allows for the tuning of our Steinway grand piano before each concert
- $250 obtains sheet music for 80 musicians for one concert set
