Tribute/Memorial Gifts
Making a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate friends and family. The Symphony will gladly send a notification on your behalf. Gifts are recognized in the concert program book and include the name of the person in whose honor or memory the donation was made as well as the donor.
Donor Advised Funds
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that you can open through a financial institution or community foundation. A DAF might be a great way to combine the most favorable tax benefits for you and your philanthropic support of our mission. To make a gift through your DAF, contact your fund administrator. If you have a Donor Advised Fund through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, please contact your fund administrator.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions
Donors who are 70-1/2 years or older can donate directly from their IRA and receive tax benefits.
Matching Gifts
Many corporate employers offer a charitable gift matching program, which could double the impact of your gift. Please contact your HR Department to request gift matching.
Will/Estate
Support the Endowment
A gift to the Symphony’s Endowment Fund ensures the organization’s financial success in the future by providing a steady flow of income from investments. Donations to the Endowment are permanently restricted while the income generated may be used at the Board’s discretion to fund the Symphony’s annual operating costs. Encore Society: Endowment gifts of $5,000 or more entitle the donor to a lifetime membership in the Encore Society. Members of the Encore Society are recognized in the program book and are invited to exclusive annual function. Named Endowments: The Symphony currently has several naming opportunities available for donors wishing to endow an orchestra chair or fund for a fixed term or in perpetuity..
Planned/Legacy Giving
Perhaps you have considered a charitable legacy to continue your philanthropy beyond your lifetime, to have your family remembered, and your philanthropy woven into the lives of others. With a legacy gift to the Santa Rosa Symphony, you can. For additional information, please contact Enid Rickley-Myres, Director of Development at 707-546-7097 x214 or erickley@srsymphony.org
